From time to time, members of FEST are set "challenges" - to produce pieces of work on a set theme or using set materials.
Here the background for the embroidery had to be paper of a certain size.
I used an interesting textured paper with further pieces applied, and some simple hand stitching.
It will be appreciated that this piece is in portrait format, and so does not display ideally on small computer screens.
